Korea's K-Tech Pass program is designed for highly qualified professionals in advanced industries. Under the new approach, candidates can be evaluated on technical expertise and the relevance of their work, rather than only on a fixed set of quantitative measures.
Qualified applicants can receive the F-2-T visa online within about two weeks without visiting an overseas diplomatic mission, according to the government overview. Benefits also include an immigration priority card, settlement support, and a path to apply for permanent residence after three years.
This is a selective program, not a general work visa. Applicants should verify whether their employer, field, credentials, and government-recruitment pathway fit the official criteria before making relocation or resignation decisions.
