One App for KTX and SRT Reservations Is Planned for August 2026

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to launch an integrated reservation app for KTX and SRT high-speed trains in August 2026. Travelers currently use separate Korail and SR services, so the change is intended to make route comparison and booking simpler.

A second change is planned for October: the advance reservation window is expected to expand from one month to two months. That should make it easier to organize holiday travel, airport connections, and trips that require accommodation well ahead of time.

The launch details and supported payment methods may change before release. Travelers should continue using official Korail and SR channels until the integrated service is live, and should avoid unofficial ticket-resale or payment sites.
