Immigration Warns Travelers About Fake e-Arrival Card Websites

Korea Immigration Service issued a warning after fake websites were found impersonating the country's e-Arrival Card service. The only official address is e-arrivalcard.go.kr, and the official submission process does not ask travelers to pay a fee.

Travelers should type the official domain directly, confirm the secure connection, and avoid links sent through unsolicited messages or advertisements. A request for card details or payment information is a strong sign that the page is not the government service.

The e-Arrival Card contains passport, itinerary, accommodation, and contact information, so a fake form can expose both identity and travel data. Anyone who has already submitted information to a suspicious site should contact the relevant bank or card issuer and report the incident promptly.
