Use of the word "Envy"!:)

In most English speaking countries I've lived in the word "Envy" is not used nearly as much as in Korea. Instead the
person would say: "I wish I could do that!" or "I wish I had one of those!" or "I wish that were me!"
To envy is usually regarded as being a little on the obsessive side. A person who says, "I envy you!" would be regarded
as so jealous that it would be a little scarey, kinda on the obsessive side. It's also one of those words that usually is
isn't used in the spoken word but rather in the written word!
