I'm moving to Korea in January and want to start chatting with people who live in Korea. That way, I can make some friends before I get there instead of meeting a random person up and having to deal with awkwardness.
About me:
I'm 21, half Japanese half Korean, and I am coming from San Francisco, California. I am not a student nor am I going to Korea to teach English, my mother lives there and thinks that me living in Korea for a while would be a good experience.
I speak a little bit of Korean and Japanese, I can read both (Well.. my kanji for Japanese is REALLY bad actually), but for the most part, I think I can understand pretty well? I like anime (of course), cute video games, city life, and dancing. To be honest, I don't like nature all that much. But as long as there is concrete and flushing toilets, I think I will be ok.
I smoke, drink only socially, and I do talk a lot of shit. If I see something I don't like, I will say something about it. I am not one to pick fights, I'm actually pretty polite, but dammit, if a school girl is yapping on her cell phone behind me on the bus, you can bet that I will be muttering under my breath.
When in Korea, I love to go to karaoke, walk around the city, and I really do have a soft spot for Korean music. The boybands may look like girls, but I love them!
You:
As long as we get along, I am sure things will be fine. I am compared to anime characters, so if you can't stand people with ADD or is a bit ditzy, don't bother replying. It would be awesome if you are close to my age but it doesn't matter if we have things in common. ALSO! I am not looking for a boyfriend or sleeping buddy. In fact, I hate perverted people. I am only looking for friends.
My mom currently lives in KangNam but will probably move to Pundang or something when I get over there.
If things sound good and you think you want to hit me up, e-mail me! We have until January to chat online and see if we get along before I get my ass over there. ^_^
