LASEK IN KOREA!!!

Community

Hello,  I wish to discuss my experience at Gangnam St. Mary's Eye Center . My first impression was wonderful as the staff were kind and extremely helpful. They possess excellent English skills and there is also at least one translator on site to explain anything that is confusing. The initial tests were somewhat suprising but made complete sense as they measure the width of one's cornea and the relative dryness of your eyes, as well as testing your visual ability. There were a few different procedures that were available and I ended up choosing the doctors recommendation. I thought it was very considerate to leave helpful literature and numerous contact information to answer any questions or doubts I had. The procedure itself was almost completely painless, and I had great vision almost immediately. There was some initial regression after the procedure but now I am seeing with slightly better than 20/20 vision. The procedure was a little intimidating, but there were many people in the room who were comforting and encouraging me and it was most inspiring. The staff there is simply astounding. The recovery was a little rough, as I had quite painful eyes and they were watering for a few days, but after one week I was almost perfect. I don't regret the experience for a second. It is an absolute wonder to be able to see every morning as I awake without the aid of contacts or glasses. I strongly recommend this for everyone. The discomfort after the operation is so completely insignificant to the gift of one's new visiual prowess. Thanks so much to everyone at Gangnam St. Mary's Eye Center !
