I'm an organizer of IFS(International Friendship Society), one of the Korean communities that pursue friendships with people from all over the world and you can find our site in Korean potal site,'Daum'.
We have a gathering every other Saturday, 2nd and 4th Saturday. 4th meeting is a language exchange.
My Korean organizer, Mighty hwang and I are going to hold an regular event, kinda gathering with people at the luxurious club in gangnam. Its concept is like a world talk show and language exchange. On the 2nd Saturday is for the world talk show and 4th one is for language exchange. ^^ At this time, those languages are going to be Korean and English. But it could include any other languages though.
We're going to mix both languages at the gathering, playing fun games. For the next 6 months, the contents will be categorized into 6 like greeting & introduction, restaurant, shopping, travel or something. I think that might help you to live in Korea if u want to pick up Korean. You don't have to pay for learning Korean. It's free lol.
We're supposed to share about Korean four-letter-words, self-introduction, and personal interests about themselves in Korea this month and vise versa.
