We're almost 2/3 finished with this book, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, by Jonathan Foer.
This week, you're supposed to have read page 174~207, or chapter "My Feelings" and "Happiness, Happiness" in case you got an e-book without page numbers.
Make sure you try to attend this week, since 'afterbook activities' will start next week.
After the book discussion this week, we'll be planning what we'd like to do and take advantage of this wonderful weather! So far, zoo, paragliding, picnic, bicycling and many other things have been suggested. Come join us help brainstorm for wonderful experiences!

For those who joined later and are trying to catch up, here's a brief clue to each chapter:
"My Feelings" chapter is a letter of Oscar(the main character boy)'s grandma. She is describing how her strange marriage ended.
"Happiness, Happiness" chapter is made up of a few events-Oscar's school project, his adventure to find a Black who knows anything about THE KEY with Mr.Black in Oscar's neighborhood, and his trip to Dr.Fein with his mom.
Even though you didn't catch up so far, the first chapter "My Feelings" will be okay to read, I promise.
