This is a full-time teaching position in Oksu-dong. We are looking for a teacher with a F-4 visa who can speak both Korean and English. We would prefer those with education or English related degrees, but anyone with a Bachelor’s degree is eligible for application.
As a teacher, you would be responsible for teaching literature, science, world history, and social studies using American textbooks; also, you would teach writing and storybook.
In addition to these classes, you would have to teach TOEFL (reading and listening), and because the reading class must be taught in Korean, we need someone who can speak Korean pretty well and is able to translate between Korean and English.
Our academy has a limit of students per class to keep class sizes small not only to ensure each child gets more attention but also to help teachers get a better understanding of each student’s level. The academy is very close to Oksu-station, so transportation should not be an issue. Our academy has a great work atmosphere and we are eager to add to our staff.
