The Power English Institute is located in Yongin and specializes in providing high-quality English education to adults. We offer classes on a variety of subjects including TOEIC, TOEIC Speaking, Opic, English conversation, and business English.
We are currently recruiting a native English teacher to teach general conversation classes. We believe that giving teachers the freedom to teach their own lessons is important for maintaining a positive learning experience. Therefore, we do not have a set curriculum and teachers are expected to prepare their own lessons or choose a book to follow.
Our students are all highly motivated adults, so you won't have to deal with screaming children or disciplinary issues. The students' levels vary and teachers are expected to be able to adjust a lesson's difficulty appropriately.
If you are a motivated and passionate teacher who doesn't want to be shackled by a rigid curriculum, this job is perfect for you. If you're looking to get by doing the bare minimum to earn a paycheck, look elsewhere.
We'd prefer someone who owns a car as some of our classes are off-site at nearby companies. If you end up having classes off-site, we will compensate you for gas.

Hours
- Tuesday / Thursday 3-5 pm
6-9pm 2 days a week) 4-5 classes a day,
- 50minute classes (10 minute break between classes)
- You will generally have a maximum of 5 classes in a day. The remaining time should be used for lesson planning and preparation.
Compensation
- Monthly: 1.2-1.5 million KRW
- 1.2 million KRW bonus after 1-year
Location
- Our academy is located in Yongin near Myeongji University.
