Speech Language Pathologist

-Evaluation
-Developing goals and treatment plans with or without supervisor assistance
-Analyze and interpret data from the diagnostics and assessments in order to develop appropriate individual learning goals and recommendations
-Coordinate with supervisor and families
-Plan research-based interventions most appropriate for the needs of the student
-Write reports and progress notes
-Planning and Oversight:
-Collect, maintain, and utilize data for program planning and decision-making
-Prepare and submit reports as required
-Collaborate with school leader, teachers, and Special Education Coordinator to best meet needs
-Screening, Testing, Diagnosing, and Advising:
-Conduct speech, language and hearing diagnostics
-Administer ongoing formal and informal assessments to track student's progress towards meeting their goals
-Provide information about program guidelines and student progress
-Managing and Conducting Therapy:
-Develop appropriate IEPs based on strengths and needs
-Use data to adjust and modify interventions and instruction appropriately
-Design, select and modify curricula most appropriate to help student meet their learning goals
-Liaison with Teachers and Parents
-Determine needs for referrals when necessary
