Enthusiastic teacher wanted for a school in the small coastal city of Samcheok, South Korea (pop. approx. 70,000).
Classes run from 3:00pm to just before 9pm (8:50), with daily preparation starting at 1:30pm.
The kids are very energetic, ranging in age from 8 to 16(mainly elementary kids). The teaching environment is fairly casual and fun,
with plenty of good-humor and a child-centric focus. The previous one foreign teacher(Canadian) taught here for 7 years, respectively.
There are one more native teacher.
The accommodations are single-person and within a few minutes' walking distance of the school.
We offer a standard one or two year contract with a good salary that is negotiable depending on your experience.
We're looking for someone with a healthy sense of humor, plenty of common sense, and of course enthusiasm for children and teaching.

* Housing : Private single, furnished apartment is provided
* Salary : 2.1 Million Won~ (up depending on education, experience)
* Working hour : 3:00pm ~ 9:00pm (50 min)
* Paid vacation : 10days + Korea holidays
* Overtime payment : 25,000won/h
* Visa sponsorship
* Benefits : Round trip + Completion bonus + Medical insurance(half)

* About Samcheok city : Samcheok is a small attractive beach city on the east coast. The beach and all amenities are within walking distance.
There is excellent public transport to bigger cities for weekend visits. There are some great views and the residents are friendly and very welcoming.
