Our academy is looking for a highly qualified and passionate teacher to join our teaching community late August / early September 2014.
Miltan English Academy, founded in 1998, is a top-ranking English private academy whose mission is to establish communicative competence in younger students through a range of speaking and writing activities. Although we have a set curriculum we allow teachers scope to be creative with their lessons to ensure enjoyable classes and rewarding teaching. All students we accept are interviewed with their parents. This ensures that all of our students are highly motivated and well-behaved.
The school Director, Mr. Moon, graduated from university in America and is fluent in English. Having lived in America he understands Western culture very well which facilitates a smooth transition to working in Korea.
The school itself is located an affluent area next to City Hall and is a 2 minute walk from the City Hall subway station. This neighborhood has a Lotte and Shinsegae department store, three different cinemas, and nightlife nearby in Arts Center and Bupyeong. In addition, Incheon Grand Park, Songdo Central Park and the seaside Wolmido resort are only a short bus ride away. Seoul is 40 minutes away by subway.
Benefits:
- 2.2-2.5 million won/month – Negotiable, depending on experience/teaching qualifications

Responsibilities:
- Classes Monday - Friday, between 3pm-10:00pm with breaks.
- 30 classes (40-55 minutes) max per week
- Students range from elementary to middle school
- Class size varies from 2 – 12 students – Never big classes!
