English Language Consultant
We, SDL Korea, are seeking a native ‘English Language Consultant’ (ELC) who wants to develop the dream and vision in this global company.
ELC is responsible for conducting technical content creation tasks. He/she needs to communicate with clients to deliver client requirements and expectations and collaborate with project managers and sales account managers. ELC must be involved in preparing proposals with sales team and attending client meetings to give proper input or feedback for the tasks and considerations required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – ELC:
Includes, but is not limited to, the following and duties may be assigned.
Project Planning. Help in developing proposals and supporting sales cycles:
- Provide necessary input and feedback to the sales team for new project proposals.
Project Execution & Control. Perform the activities required for the content:
- Define and document the work requirements and make suggestions for tasks with clients and perform the necessary pre-analysis steps accordingly.
- Write the content according to the requirements defined and ensure the quality of deliverables against client expectations or pre-analysis results.
- Directly communicate with internal stakeholders (PM, sales account managers) as well as clients to ensure the proper level of a quality for deliverables.
- Track down client feedback to build up a quality assurance database and the linguistic assets required to maintain quality programs.
Project Closing. Provide inputs for the post project analysis, document Lessons Learned database.
- Share the inputs to develop Post-Project Analysis and Report by the PM.
- Attend internal and client Post-Project Meeting.
- Document lessons learned database and share them with the project stakeholders.
- Train the internal or external resources to share the project knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and skills required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Equivalent of Bachelor's degree in technology and/or writing field in target languages.
- More than 2 years’ experience working on localization, publishing, editing and /or technical writing projects in target languages.
- Excellent writing skills based on the technical knowledge in target languages as native speakers.
- Fluent English communication skills.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Strong working knowledge of software development and telecommunications, and understanding of quality assurance practices, principles and methodologies are required.
