Sunnyhill International Christian School is a ministry of Hanam Presbyterian Church located in Hanam,
Republic of Korea. Hanam is a new, modern city of around 140,000 on the east side of Seoul in Gyeonggi
Province with easy access to Seoul via bus and subway (30 minutes). Hanam Presbyterian church has around
3,000 members. Sunyhill is now accepting resumes for Elementary - Junior School teachers.
Teacher benefits include:
- An One way airfare if hired outside Korea.
- Bonus equal to one month’s salary for each year employed upon completion of contract.
- Korean National Medical Insurance paid 50% by school and 50% by employee.
- Korean National Pension paid 50% by school and 50% by employee.
- Accommodation paid for by school. Utilities paid for by employee.

- Paid vacation:
28 days first year of employment
- 2,000,000 ($1724.50) – 2,300,000 ($1983) Korean Won per month salary depend-
ing upon experience and education. Exchange rates change daily.
Job Conditions:
- Work hours: 8:30AM-6:00PM Monday-Friday
- American Christian school curriculum.
Qualifications:
- A four year BA/BS degree required minimum. (Education majors preferred)
- You must have citizenship and a valid passport from Australia, Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, or the United States
- Teacher certification a plus.
- Teacher experience preferred but not required.
- Committed Christian in agreement with SICS Statement of Faith.
