Quest Academy is English educational academy in Korea.
Quest started its educational services 17 years ago. Now we have 3 branch offices.
Since then, we’ve achieved much public recognition in that area.
Gu-mi is one of the most industrialized cities having about three hundred thousand people in population in Korea . It is only one hour drive from Dae-gu. In Rail way services, it has a KTX station near Gumi station where you can access any major cities like Seoul or Bu-san in a few hours.
When you are chosen to be a full teacher, you are expected to do these as below
1. Level of the students : Elementary and Middle school students.
2. What to teach: Phonics-related reading books for the lower level of elementary school kids.
Novels for the higher level of elementary school students.
Listening tests for TOSEL, or TOEIC for both Elementary and Middle school students.
3. Working hours: 1 p.m – 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
You will teach a mazimum of 35 classes a week.
4. Teaching materials and training sessions given in advance.
5. SALARY: The Employer agrees to pay the Employee the amount of 2.2million Won for the duration of the contract. The Employer will also pay the Employee a severance payment of 2.2million Won for completing the aforementioned contract.
We’ve had three native English teachers so far. They had had a lot of good experience in our school, since our school is located in somehow a remote area, which surely can give you more about traditional and true colors of Korea.
6. HOUSING: The Employer shall provide a furnished apartment that will be a dual-occupancy-housing unit.
7. MEDICAL INSURANCE: The Employer agrees to provide medical insurance for the Employee through group membership. The Employer agrees to pay 50% of the monthly premium, the Employee is responsible for the other 50%.
