THE JOB
Guest English Teachers GETs are required to conduct English conversation classes to Korean primary and secondary school students as part of the Korean government aim to promote and strengthen English language education. A candidate should have a strong sense of creativity and motivation as well as enjoy working with learners from various age groups as part of an academic team. Teachers are expected to focus on the development of oral communication skills using interactive teaching methods. These positions are contingent upon the satisfactory outcome (as determined by the board) of the pre-employment screening activities (including criminal history check and medical check) as required under the Korean Immigration procedures and the Korean Ministry of Education bylaws.
