This Washburn B-16 five string banjo is a top quality Korean made banjo, basically a copy of a 1930's Gibson Mastertone. It has mahogany wood, nickel hardware, presto tailpiece, flying eagle inlays, a snuffy smith bridge (and the original grover style). I've got it new about 1 year ago. It's lightly played and has a high quality hardshell case. There's a nice leather strap and an extra set of JD Crowe Signature GHS strings (medium light).
This banjo looks and sounds great. I have three banjos, so I'm "thinning the herd".
If you've been learning on a beginner's banjo and if you are ready to move up, then this is the banjo for you. You may be surprised how much a quality banjo improves your playing. The neck is straight, there's only a hint of fret wear, and no damage to any wood or metal.
