I bought this guitar about 4 months ago. It is the 'worn brown' color. It is in perfect condition, actually better than new. Even though it was new, it had scratchy pots and a scratchy switch so I went ahead and replaced all the wiring with top quality parts professionally installed http://www.rsguitarworks.net/rsstore/product_info.php?cPath=47_61&products_id=393 - also replaced were the switch and the jack with Switchcraft pieces. The tone is greatly improved by this and everything works silently and perfectly - much better than stock. You can see more pictures at http://www.noslen.com/gibson/ This guitar plays very well and sounds great. I am selling it because I have a Stratocaster and that is more my thing - this was my first Les Paul. It comes with the Gibson USA hardcase with white plush interior that is in perfect condition. This guitar has gone from the store here in Seoul to my apartment and has been kept in the case when not played. It only left my apartment once to get the new wiring installed. In other words this thing is like brand new, but better. The cost here in Seoul is 1.1 million won for a new one. Also included is a new pickguard I just got in the mail - haven't installed it -- it is an upgrade that doesn't use the metal brace. I don't really want to sell this, but I can't see having two guitars - I may change my mind, but for now it is a great deal if you want a Gibson Les Paul.
Response to a question about the guitar:
It has everything that came with it - a manual, packing list, instructions for the lock (of the case) and the tool (truss rod wrench/screwdirver). The case still has the red plastic thing that holds it at 0-0-0. It is now strung with the topwrap method and has new strings (DR-10 Pure Blues with a new set included) - this is easy to change over the next time you restring. I have found it makes bending noticeably easier, but I can't say for sure about increases in tone/resonance that other people report. See an example pic (NOT the guitar for sale) here http://www.multi.fi/~nproject/thursday_burst/thumbs/topwrap.jpg The guitar has the stock Burstbucker Pros and they have plenty of grunt to them.
